Description
By the grace and mercy of Allah Ta‘ala, a blessed and enlightening journey was undertaken to the Haramain, along with a spiritually enriching visit to Masjid al-Aqsa during Ramadhaan 1433, in the esteemed company of our respected Shaikh, Hadhrat Mufti Ebrahim Salejee Saahib (daamat barakaatuhu).
For many participants, this marked a first visit to Jordan and Palestine—lands found to be profoundly rich in Islamic history, virtue, barakah, and blessings. These regions are among those described in the Qur’aan as “the land whose surroundings We have blessed.” The virtues of Shaam and Al-Quds have been emphasized in the sayings of Rasulullah ﷺ and the statements of the Sahaabah, highlighting their immense spiritual significance and historical legacy.
Every site visited was observed to be filled with lessons and reminders, making the journey deeply meaningful for those who reflected upon its history and virtues. It was felt that documenting these aspects would greatly enhance the experience of future visitors, nurturing love, reverence, and appreciation for these sacred lands.
The historical facts presented in this booklet have largely been drawn from the works of Hadhrat Mufti Taqi Usmaani Saahib (Daamat barakatuhu) and his elder brother Hadhrat Mufti Rafee’ Usmaani Saahib (Rahimahullah), whose writings are a valuable source of knowledge. In addition, the invaluable advices imparted throughout the journey by our respected Ustaaz were carefully recorded for the benefit of the reader.
